House of Victory Launches 'Dancing into March Madness' Campaign to Support NIL Opportunities for Women's Basketball Student-Athletes

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Each contribution will be matched dollar-for-dollar for the first $50,000.

Los Angeles (March 18, 2024) - To highlight and celebrate the recently minted No. 1 seed of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, House of Victory today launched the Dancing Into March Madness campaign to raise NIL funds specifically for USC’s women’s basketball student-athletes. Thanks to the generous support of an anonymous donor, each contribution will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000, doubling the impact.

Supporters can make a contribution of any amount, but gifts of $250 or greater unlock a variety of exclusive benefits, including personalized messages from the team, autographed memorabilia and more. Memorabilia includes signed canvas posters exclusively produced by House of Victory and signed limited-edition SLAM Magazines and shirts commemorating the appearance of All-American guard and National Freshman of the Year, Juju Watkins on the magazine’s cover.

“We hope each and every one of our fans step up and show their support for this team through the Dancing Into March Madness campaign,” said Head Women’s Basketball Coach Lindsay Gottlieb. “I’m so proud of what they’ve accomplished so far this season and can’t wait to watch them play in the NCAA Tournament. Your support ensures that this level of success is the standard for our program.”

The Dancing Into March Madness campaign comes on the heels of an NIL engagement for every member of the women’s basketball team. House of Victory hosted an intimate donor reception following the Women of Troy’s Selection Sunday show watch party where donors had the opportunity to meet and mingle with student-athletes, get autographs, take photos with the Pac-12 Tournament trophy and hear first hand from the team during a student-athlete panel. Funds from the Dancing Into March Madness campaign will continue to support NIL opportunities for every member of the team.

The Women of Troy are in the midst of a historic season, winning the final Pac-12 Tournament and achieving their highest AP ranking since 1986. Watkins has already received numerous national and conference accolades, including Freshman of the Year and National Player of the Year Runner-up honors from ESPN as well as All-America honors from both ESPN and The Athletic. She was also named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and earned All-Pac-12 team honors alongside teammate McKenzie Forbes. Rounding out the Women of Troy trio with all-conference accolades is Rayah Marshall who earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention and All-Defensive Honorable mention honors.

The Dancing Into March Madness campaign will run until the conclusion of the women’s basketball season.

“We are so proud of this team and these student-athletes for how they’ve come together throughout the season. This is a perfect opportunity for the Trojan Family to get behind Coach Gottlieb’s No. 1 seeded program,” said House of Victory Executive Director, Spencer Harris. “Every Trojan fan can contribute to the continued success of this team and make a direct impact for our student-athletes.”
