Through a recent NIL engagement, several members of the USC Football team visited a Red Cross Blood Drive, with a couple athletes even giving blood for the first time in their lives! As the country faces a blood shortage, the support of these athletes was critical. 

Hayden Treter and Willi Wascher, both offensive linemen, signed up to give blood as part of the drive. Each of their donations can save up to three lives, and the drive as a whole collected enough blood to save 84 lives. 

In addition to these donors, other athletes visited with donors and Red Cross staff and volunteers, signed autographs and took photos. Click the video below to watch Sport Central LA's coverage of the blood drive.
